Boy the winter has arrived in the last week! We’ve started feeding the birds but what else can we do to support the wildlife and hopefully increase the biodiversity, in our gardens without compromising on the look?

I am familiar with the Royal Mile, having grown up in the Edinburgh environs. However I have to admit I know little of the history of the area or anything about the existence of any gardens. Whilst planning our Edinburgh Festival visit, my Mother came across the ‘Secret Gardens of the Royal Mile Tour’ by Greenyonder Tours, so we decided check it out.
