I am familiar with the Royal Mile, having grown up in the Edinburgh environs. However I have to admit I know little of the history of the area or anything about the existence of any gardens. Whilst planning our Edinburgh Festival visit, my Mother came across the ‘Secret Gardens of the Royal Mile Tour’ by Greenyonder Tours, so we decided check it out.
